Absent the shrillness and time limitations of typical talk radio, “Community
Matters” focuses on a topic of concern each week from various points of
view. Our hosts—fresh voices over the airwaves—guide the discussions
and weave in listener comments and questions. Community Matters
is hosted by Morris
Reece, the City of Racine's Fair Housing Director and Len Iaquinta,
a Kenosha native, is trained as a journalist at Northwestern University
in Evanston (BSJ) and Columbia University in the City of New York (MSJ). He is
active in local, regional and national organizations serving children and
families.
The show airs every Saturday
morning between 11:00 and noon.
Periodically, "Community Matters" is pre-empted by the three time
award-winning WGTD Radio Radio,
with live broadcasts of original dramas and comedies performed by the 91.1
Players.
