Dave McGrath, News Director: Dave's 35-plus career in radio included stints at WLIP, WRJN and the old WLTQ in Milwaukee. Long-time WGTD listeners appreciate Dave's conversational style and professionalism and have benefited with his familiarity with our communities as local host of NPR's Morning Edition. Dave has been with the station since 1998.
Dave Cole, General Manager: Dave's duties include direct involvement in virtually every aspect of the radio station, including local news coverage, programming, promotion and budget planning. His background in radio is rooted in news, having spent 21 years as news and/or program director at WLIP in Kenosha.
Greg Berg, Fine Arts Director: Greg, a full-time member of Carthage College's music faculty, has been with WGTD in various capacities since 1986. Greg currently hosts Music Potpourri, a daily hour-long program of classical music, and The Morning Show, a highly acclaimed program of conversations with both local and nationally-renowned authors. He also speaks on a regular basis with a variety of local newsmakers, and representatives of various cultural and educational institutions in the area.
Steven Brown, Producer: Steve has become a jack-of-all trades since joining WGTD on a part-time basis in 2004. In recent months, Steve has led the charge as WGTD moves into the area of video production. Steve is the creator behind the highly-successful 91.1 Players. Dr. Brown, who lives in the Town of Salem, is a full-time professor of Educational Leadership at Northeastern Illinois University.
Earlene Frederick, News Producer: Earlene (not pictured) is a videographer and still-camera freelancer, and keeps a watchful eye on area police and fire calls for WGTD. Earlene is also employed by Spot News, a Chicago-based service that supplies Chicago and Milwaukee TV newsrooms with video from the scenes of breaking news. Earlene is a member of the Board of Directors of Kenosha Community TV, the non-profit that operates public access television in Kenosha.
