The Gateway Radio Reading Service brings the local newspapers
and other publications to the ears of the print handicapped.
The Gateway Radio Reading Service is on the air from 10:00 a.m.
till 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The G.R.R.S. can be tuned in using a special receiver provided to qualified
listeners. Volunteer readers present live and taped broadcasts featuring:
- Articles from the Kenosha News and Racine Journal Times.
- Readings from magazines including Time, People, American Heritage,
AARP Readers Digest and more.
- Readings of short stories, poetry, and books.
