A 25-year-old man who was busted and ticketed for alleged drunk driving in the pre-dawn hours of Thursday morning---then released in the custody of a sober friend---apparently got behind the wheel of a car just minutes later and allegedly caused an accident that sent a 40-year-old Kenosha woman to a hospital. The Kenosha Police Department say the accident happened at 75th Street and 60th Avenue---near the Speedway gas station.The victim was hit in the intersection by the 25-year-old man who allegedly ran a red light. The woman had to be extricated from her vehicle. She apparently suffered a possible broken pelvis and femur---and---was flown to Froedtert Hospital by Flight for Life. The man was arrested at the scene and was taken into custody pending a charge of OWI causing great bodily harm. Neither person has yet been identified.
