(WGTD)---John Dickert is going to work for Peter Barca.
The former three-term Racine mayor has been hired by the new state Revenue Department Secretary to serve as administrator of the Local Finance Division.
Barca is a former state representative from Kenosha.
In a news release, Barca notes that Dickert’s background not only as mayor but also as a residential and commercial real estate broker makes him well suited for the job.
For the past couple of years, Dickert has served as head of the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Cities Initiative.
