Most of what you ever wanted and/or needed to know about Foxconn will now be available on a new website launched by the State of Wisconsin yesterday. Wisconnvalley.wi.gov provides an overview of the Foxconn project---including answers to frequently asked questions. It also allows companies seeking to do business with Foxconn to register to get connected to the company---and---companies can sign up for notifications of bidding opportunities as the project progresses. Equally important---construction updates on the project itself---including nearby roads and highways---will be available.
Along with the launch of the new website---the first resource fair for construction workers will be held at Racine’s Festival Hall on Thursday, March 29th. There will also be statewide informational sessions for construction contractors. Details on those meetings will soon be forthcoming.
