Search Resumes For Missing Pleasant Prairie Man

Updated 11-8-17

Pleasant Prairie Police have come up empty-handed in a two-day search of a tract of land that's near the home of a man who's been missing for six months.

41 year-old Michael Wyatt was last seen by family members on June 7th. Wyatt left home without his wallet, credit cards, keys and vehicle, according to police.

About a week ago, a cadaver dog who'd been brought in to aid in the search got a hit at a pond in a secluded area near the family's home off of 47th Ave. and the state line, according to Police Chief David Smetana.

Search crews, including a dive team, returned to the area Tuesday morning. But police said Wednesday afternoon that nothing was found of any value.

Police have consistently said that foul play is not suspected in the disappearance.
