Timeline Released in Cheddar Restaurant Shooting Responses

(WGTD)---Possibly in reaction to online complaints from the relatives of the victim, authorities have released a timeline of first responder arrivals in the shooting death of a 19-year-old man at Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen Monday night.

Khaled Alchaar was shot outside of the restaurant by an unknown assailant.

According to the release, the first calls came in at 8:47, and the first responder--a City of Kenosha police officer--arrived on scene at less than two-and-a-half minutes later. But it took personnel another four minutes to locate the victim--he had stumbled to the nearby U.S. Cellular store.

In the meantime, because of safety concerns, Pleasant Prairie Fire & Rescue staged several blocks away. They were summoned to the scene about four minutes after the victim was located, arriving about thirty-seconds later at about 8:58.

By 9:09, Alchaar was being wheeled into nearby St. Catherine's Hospital, just 22 minutes after the initial call was received.

Relatives had complained in social media that it took 20 minutes for paramedics just to arrive on scene.

At last report, the gunman was still being sought.
