From Kansasville Fire and Rescue:
Just after 11:30 p.m. on Friday night, June 13, 2025, the Kenosha Joint Services Communications Department received an Apple automated crash notification alerting them of a vehicle crash in the area of the intersection of STH 142/Burlington Road and 224th Avenue in the Kenosha County Town of Brighton.
Kenosha County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched and immediately responded to the area. Upon arrival deputies were not initially able to locate a crash.
Deputies continued their search efforts and used a thermal-imaging drone to help locate the wreckage, about 50 feet off the paved roadway, south of the "T" intersection, and hidden in thick brush and numerous trees, where it came to rest after launching up over an 8 foot embankment and traveling into the thick foliage, hiding it from visibility.
Kansasville Fire Rescue Department (KFRD) was then dispatched to respond to the crash scene to render aid to the injured driver.
KFRD's Paramedic Unit and Engine company responded to the scene and made contact with the driver (lone occupant) of the vehicle who was able to free himself from the severely damaged Hyundai Sonata.
KFRD's paramedic team stabilized the patient, then transported him emergently to Froedtert Hospital-Pleasant Prairie for further examination and treatment of injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.
Kenosha County Sheriff's Office Deputies are investigating the cause of the crash.
