Gateway Radio Reading Service

The Gateway Radio Reading Service (GRRS) supports visually or physically impaired residents in the greater Kenosha and Racine areas that have difficulty seeing or holding printed material. GRRS is on the air weekdays Monday-Friday with volunteers reading articles from the Kenosha News and Racine Journal Times as well as books and short stories.

The service is accessible via a special radio receiver that is provided at no charge. GRRS can also be heard using the Listen Live player below. To order a radio or to learn more about serving as a volunteer reader, contact Russ Weller or call at (262) 564-3744.

Listeners can also download and listen to Gateway Radio Reading Service’s stream using applications such as iTunes or Windows Media Player.
