Author & Two Others to Headline "Breaking Barriers and Building Lives" Discussion

(WGTD)---The challenges that prison inmates face upon their release into the community will be explored this Thursday by the Kenosha Coalition for dismantling racism. It'll take place at the Civil War Museum in Kenosha beginning at 5:30.

The panel discussion will feature Sharmain Harris, Carl Fields and Hope Wesley, three formerly incarcerated individuals who will share their personal journeys of reentry, resilience and transformation.

Harris recently wrote a book titled "Rising Above the Odds: My Journey from Pain and Prison to Power and Purpose." A limited number of copies of the book will be available Thursday night. 

The event is free and open to the public.
