Bad-Looking Kenosha Crash Results in Serious Injuries But No Fatalities

June 13, 2023 3:30p

(WGTD)---A two-vehicle crash in Kenosha this week had all the marks of a potential fatal.

Two occupants of a Jeep--an 18-year-old woman and a baby-- were both ejected as the SUV rolled over after impact. The second vehicle--a Chevy Malibu-- burst into flames, trapping the 54-year-old driver for a time.

But according to a news release from the police department, neither the 54-year-old or the two riders in the jeep suffered life-threatening injuries.

The Tuesday night crash happened at 50th St. and 23rd Ave. when the driver of the car allegedly ran a stop sign. He's also expected to be charged with drunk driving.

The man was pulled from the vehicle while the first officers on the scene put out the fire in his car.
