Oct. 7, 2025 8:30p

(WGTD)---A 27-year-old Kenosha man has been charged with homicide by the intoxicated use of a vehicle in connection with a head-on crash on Highway ‘E’ in Somers Sunday evening.

Although he remains hospitalized and wasn’t in court Tuesday, Marcus Mann’s bond was set at $200,000. In addition to the homicide count, Mann was charged with possession of cocaine and THC.

According to the criminal complaint, Mann’s full-sized pickup crossed the centerline and struck a Honda S-U-V driven by a woman who hasn’t been identified. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A witness who was driving behind the Honda saw the pickup starting to drift over. The witness said she started blowing her horn in a futile effort to get the attention of the Honda driver. Instead, she said, the two vehicles seemed to collide at full speed, with neither driver attempting to brake or swerve at the last minute.

Recovered from the offending vehicle were quantities of cocaine, THC and alcohol.
