Co-Defendant in Kenosha County Cold Case Appears in Court

(WGTD)---A half-million dollar bond has been set for a 70-year-old Genoa City man who allegedly killed the husband of his supposed lover over 20 years ago. 

John Viskocil is facing a charge of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for next Friday.

The victim--47-year-old David Vanderzee--was found in a pool of blood in his Powers Lake home in 2003 after having been shot five times in the head. 

At the time of the crime, Vanderzee was married to Roxanna Vanderzee, now Roxanna Collins. 

Collins, who allegedly was having an affair with Viskocil at the time, is also charged with 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, Party to the Crime.

Collins currently lives in McHenry.  She was arrested by Illinois authorities and is awaiting extradition to Wisconsin.

The eight-page criminal complaint is based entirely on circumstantial evidence.
