(WGTD)---A primary election will be required in the upcoming Kenosha School Board election. The filing deadline was this week.
Six candidates will be on the Feb. 17th ballot.
They include the two incumbents, Yolanda Adams and Bob Tierney.
Challengers include Indian Trail High School senior Jeremy Oster, former Kenosha alderman Patrick Juliana, former school board candidate Robin Cullen and Jack Lira.
In district-divided Racine Unified, incumbent Scott Coey has drawn opposition from Marlo Harmon.
Incumbent Sarah Walker Cleaveland has no opponent in the third.
And in the seventh district, UW-Parkside chemistry professor Ethan Clements will be taking a seat on the board as he has no opposition. Incumbent Brian O'Connell declined to seek re-election.
