(WGTD)---Three children died and their father was treated for smoke inhalation in a Thursday night fire in a town home in Kenosha.
The victims were members of the Kannin family--10-year-old Rylee, 9-year-old Connor and 7-year-old Alena. The father was identified as 39-year-old Joshua Kannin.
Firefighters were called to a row of two-story town homes in the 5200 blk. of 43rd Ave. around 10:30 p.m. Dispatchers relayed information indicating that at least two people were trapped. Firefighters and police officers rolled up to flames and smoke.
According to a authorities, the brothers were pronounced dead at the scene while the girl died in the hospital several hours later.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Fire damage appeared to be mostly confined to the unit where the blaze began.
