Kemper Center Inc. in Search of a Leader

Feb. 25, 2026 7:40p

(WGTD)---The non-profit that runs the Kemper Center for Kenosha County is looking for another administrator.

The position was posted on the non-profit's website after the last administrator--hired just last fall--left this year after the group's board of directors came to the conclusion that the hire was not a good fit.

The wide-range of duties includes serving as the main contact for facility rentals, overseeing overall operations, coordinating paid staff and volunteers and fundraising. The former girls' school property on Kenosha's lakefront includes the Anderson Arts Center.

The position pays between $40,000 and $45,000 per year.

Kemper Center, Inc. has been hoping to secure a long-term extension of its contract with the county. That has met with resistance as County Executive Samantha Kerkman is proposing to launch a formal review all of the county's contracts with its parks partners by issuing 'requests for proposals.'
