(WGTD)---A SWAT team in Milwaukee rescued an 18-year-old Kenosha woman who allegedly was being held against her will.
Now 51-year-old John Washington of Milwaukee is facing charges of kidnapping, false imprisonment and sexual assault. A $500,000 bond was set in Kenosha Court Monday.
According to the criminal complaint, the victim is developmentally disabled.
She told police she was driven to Milwaukee with friends, believing she was going to a party. Instead, a multi-day ordeal ensued in which she was allegedly sexually assaulted and held against her will.
In addition, she said the defendant deleted her mother’s phone number from her cell phone.
Police developed leads and a possible location in Milwaukee where she was being held.
A SWAT team went to the defendant’s home and that’s where the woman was found. She said she wanted to go home.
Washington denied any wrongdoing.
