(WGTD)---A partnership between a new company and UW-Parkside that was birthed in the Kenosha Innovation Neighborhood is expected to bring the benefits of artificial intelligence to small and medium-sized businesses in the area while giving students a hands-on experience in the field.
Ordify AI was found by Roger Lam and is a new tenant of the Kenosha Innovation Center. Parkside's App Factory has been in business helping local companies and non-profits since 2014.
According to a news release, Oridify's intuitive no-code platform will be used at the App Factory by students and staff to create AI tools for clients.
Lam says the partnership will bridge the gap between academic learning and business application.
The collaboration was developed under the auspices of Steve Donovan, Executive Director of Parkside Works, a new initiative that's designed to further strengthen links between the school and area businesses.
According to the release, project development will take place early next year while engagement with local businesses will begin in the summer.
