From Racine Police:
On July 11, 2025, at approximately 11:26pm, officers were called to the 800 block of St. Patrick St for a report of shots fired.
Two victims, a 52-year-old male and a 21-year-old male were located suffering from gunshot wounds to the abdomen. Life saving measures were attempted and both males were transported to the hospital. The 52-year-old male did not survive his injuries. The 21- year-old male remains hospitalized.
It was determined that the initial incident was a burglary, which led to the shots being fired.
The suspected shooter in this case has been interviewed.
The investigation is ongoing. Racine Police investigators are interested in any additional information that anyone may have about this incident.
