(WGTD)---The two finalists for the position of Racine Unified superintendent are holding a joint session Wednesday night that’s designed to allow the public to familiarize themselves with the candidates.
Soren Gajewski—a 17-year veteran of the district—is currently serving as interim superintendent. The second finalist is Caroline Pate-Hefty who currently leads the Whitewater Unified School District.
The event will begin at 6:30 in the board room of the district’s administrative campus.
A hiring decision could come by the middle of next month.
