(WGTD)---Grief counselors and extra security are on hand at two Kenosha high schools following a Wednesday night shooting that left a Bradford High School student dead and two Indian Trail students injured.
A 19-year-old and a 16-year-old were taken into custody, according to police.
The dead Bradford student was identified as 16-year-old Isiah Cooper. The two Indian Trail students were said to be 19 and 15 years old. One of the injured students was in critical condition.
The incident occurred just before 8 Wednesday evening on 60th St. just east of Library Square.
A possible motive wasn't revealed.
The students who were arrested had fled into a nearby apartment.
A statement sent to Kenosha Unified staff, students and parents from Superintendent Jeff Weiss expresses concern for those impacted by the incident. Weiss also issued a reminder on the importance of anyone who's gotten wind of the possibility of trouble to speak up.
