From WGTD News:

1st District Congressman Bryan Steil is scheduled to host a rare in-person listening session Thursday evening in Elkhorn. It'll be held at Elkhorn Area High School. According to the Janesville Republican's website, the 75-minute long session will begin at 5 p.m. It'll be moderated by a Janesville radio talk show host. Steil has held several telephone listening sessions in recent months, with some in-person forums held earlier in the year.

A Racine Unified spokesperson says classes this fall will begin as scheduled at Olympia Brown in Caledonia despite a car crash that caused a considerable amount of damage early Tuesday. According to Caledonia Police, a suspected drunk driver left the road, crashed through an exterior wall, entered a classroom and damaged an adjacent classroom. The 23-year-old Racine man was arrested for drunk driving and various other violations. He wasn't hurt. RUSD spokesperson Stacy Tapp said the damage occurred in an older section of the building, not a new wing. The elementary school--recently expanded and renovated--will open as a K-through-8 this fall. Crews were working to assess the damage and determine just how quickly repairs could be made.
