The 2023 Humanitarian Awards were given at the 29th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at Gateway Technical College. We will talk to the recipients: Tamarra Coleman, executive director of the Shalom Center, Kenosha; Dr. James Kinchen, professor and director of Choral Arts for UW-Parkside; and Scott Terry, owner of Mahogany Gallery and the Black Arts Cultural Center, Racine.
