Dr. Jonathan Shailor's guest today on EDUCATION MATTERS ARE: Anne Ellinger, Christopher Ellinger, and Cat Gilliam on the practice of "Embodied Empathy"
Anne and Christopher train people in the helping of professions, including teachers, group facilitators, and counselors in using Embodied Empathy to strengthen the power of relationships and groups. For 24 years, the Ellingers have run True Story Theater, using improvisational theatre to build bridges of respect and understanding across differences in their community. As a couple who have been together for 44 years, they enjoy practicing embodied empathy to strengthen their own connection--as well as with friends. One of their dearest friends and colleagues, Cat Gilliam, joins the conversation.
