21-year-old John Bush Shares Lessons Learned From KUSD School Board Candidacy

Host Troy McDonald welcomes 21-year-old John Bush who recently was one of the 14 candidates vying for an appointment on the Kenosha Unified School District Board. Although he was unsuccessful, Bush shares what he learned from the experience, his personal story overcoming homelessness, and what he plans for his future. Bush is now a student at Carthage College studying political science.
