Postponed from last week: David Maraniss is the author of "Path Lit by Lightning: The Life of Jim Thorpe." Thorpe, a Native American, was one of the most spectacularly gifted athletes of the 20th century. He won two gold medals at the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm, Sweden (medals that were unfairly taken away from him and only restored to him many decades later (long after Thorpe had died.)
