In part one, we meet Amy Wagner and hear about the fire several years ago that destroyed her home and essentially all of her family's possessions- but we'll also hear about the enormous outpouring of kindness and generosity from friends, neighbors and even strangers. This is what inspired Amy and her husband Spence to create the Wagner Family Fire Fund which aids other families that have suffered a similar misfortune. Amy's efforts have attracted attention from all over the country. In part two, we continue our series of interviews related to The New Yorker magazine, which celebrated its 100th anniversary earlier this year. This particular interview celebrates some of the great fiction that has appeared in the magazine over the years.
