We preview Carthage College's upcoming symposium "From Canvas to Cosmos: Soviet Art, Solaris, Space Exploration, and the Science of Serene Spaces." The symposium celebrates the school's acquisition of the Sam and Berry Shoen Collection of Soviet Art. Leslie Brothers, Jojin Van Winkle, Ryan Miller, and Jean Quashnock - Carthage faculty who are among the participants in the symposium, which runs Thursday 1/18 thrrough Saturday 1/20- and all of the events are free and open to the public.
