Pauline Steinhorn talks about her book "Dreaming of the River: A Mother and Daughter's Fight for Survival during the Holocaust." The 'mother and daughter' mentioned in the book's subtitle were the author's mother and grandmother- and Steinhorn was able to craft her book by using the journals that both of those women wrote not long after being liberated from the war camp where they were both imprisoned.
