We discuss the amazing career of composer and arranger Robert Russell Bennett with George J. Ferencz, a retired music professor from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and editor of "The Broadway Sound: The Autobiography and Selected Essays of Robert Russell Bennett." Bennett is best remembered as the orchestrator for the vast majority of Broadway musicals from the golden age, including the greatest works of Rodgers & Hammerstein and Lerner & Loewe.
