Kimberly Heckler talks about the book she has written about her mother-in-law, Margaret Heckler ..... "A Woman of Firsts: Margaret Hecker, Political Trailblazer." Ms. Heckler served as a U.S. Representative from Massachusetts, as Secretary of Health and Human Services under Ronald Reagan, and as U.S. Ambassador to Ireland. She was the first woman to achieve this political 'triple crown.' The book also explores her very difficult childhood - a childhood which makes the accomplishments of her life all the more remarkable.
