The Gateway Radio Reading Service (GRRS) is designed for either visually or physically impaired residents in the greater Kenosha and Racine areas that have difficulty either seeing or holding printed material. GRRS is on the air weekdays Monday-Friday with volunteers reading articles from the Kenosha News and Racine Journal Times. Books and short stories are also read.
The service is accessible via a special radio receiver that’s provided at no charge. GRRS can also be heard on the Listen Live page. To order a radio or to learn more about serving as a volunteer reader, contact Russ Weller or call at (262) 564-3744.
