Back to Virtual For Kenosha School Board

March 20, 2022 8:10p

(WGTD)---COVID has faded, but this week’s Kenosha School Board meeting will be held virtually.

School Board President Yolanda Adams says that’s because she want to avoid the disruptions from the audience that occurred during last week’s special meeting that was held in-person at the Educational Support Center.

School board meetings in Kenosha, as well as in many other locations around the country, have turned into raucous affairs in part because of dissatisfaction over COVID mitigation rules.

Although Tuesday night's board meeting will be held virtually, residents may watch the meeting on the district’s YouTube channel and will still be able to address the board, albeit virtually.
