(WGTD)---Charges have been filed against a couple of used car dealers in Kenosha for allegedly bending and defacing a customer's driver's license, then posting a video of their actions.
Bryan Slaven and Zachary Brugioni are each facing misdemeanor counts of theft, criminal damage and disorderly conduct. They're due in court for initial appearances next month.
The criminal complaint mirrors what had previously been reported.
A woman had gone to NH Auto Sales on south Sheridan Rd. to test drive a car. Before going for the ride, the victim turned over her driver's license to the salesmen.
The woman left without making a purchase, but accidentally left her license behind.
In a conversation with an investigator, Brugioni indicated that before leaving the woman had become "loud" which caused another customer to back out of a sale.
The unpleasant interaction is apparently what led to one of the defendant bending the woman's license, while the other urinated on it.
The complaint says two police officers later went to the used car lot and recovered the woman's license.
