Mar. 26, 2021 1:05p

(WGTD)---The Kenosha Police Department is continuing to actively investigate the looting, vandalism, arsons and general violence that took place following the Jacob Blake shooting last summer.

55 people have been identified and are facing charges, according to what Chief Daniel Miskinis said in a news release Friday.

Of the 55, six are juveniles, 35 of the 55 are known to be Kenosha residents.

"There are many more suspects to be identified who may well be from outside the area making identification more difficult." Miskinis said. "But we are not going to let that dissuade us--the victims of the violence deserve our efforts," he said.
