(WGTD)---The Medal of Honor in this nation’s highest military award, given only for acts of extraordinary bravery.
Later this month the Pritzker Military Museum and Library in Somers will explore the topic with an event headlined by two area recipients, George Wetzel of Milwaukee and Allen James Lynch of Gurnee.
The event will take place Wednesday, Mar. 25th at 2 p.m. It's open to the public.
It'll underscore the Pritzker Museum and Library’s plans to build a permanent exhibit honoring Medal of Honor recipients.
The museum's director and curator recently appeared on Education Matters and provided an overview of the Pritzker museum's history, operations and goals.
