(WGTD)---The first few hours of the new year in Kenosha County included a fatal shooting with multiple injuries, a traffic fatality and a jailhouse death.

Just before 4 a.m., police were called to a parking lot outside of Coins Sports Bar on 52nd St. In the midst of a crowd of people fleeing the scene on foot and in vehicles, officers found four gunshot victims--all in their 20s and all possibly from Illinois, according to a news release. Three were men and one was a woman.

The individual who died was identified Monday as 27-year-old Breon T. Gates.

Two of the four victims remained hospitalized on Monday. Their conditions have improved, according to an update from the police department.

Police said the shooting does not appear to be a "random act." Police reported Monday that no one is in custody.

Several vehicles were towed from the scene.

According to a news release from the Kenosha County Sheriff's Dept., the driver had been traveling at a high rate of speed just before the crash and wasn't wearing a seatbelt.
