(WGTD)---The 28-year-old woman who was struck and seriously injured while performing highway flagging duties Tuesday is originally from Racine.
Karlee Rybarcyk suffered two broken legs, a broken arm and other injuries.
The driver of the pickup that struck her was identified as 41-year-old Bob Slominski of the Burlington area. Slominski is facing charges of hit and run, reckless driving and bail jumping. Slominski has two prior convictions for drunk driving. A third case is pending.
A GoFundMe account has been established for Rybarcyk. Her cousin tells WGTD she moved to South Milwaukee while in high school to live with her father.
