From Gateway Technical College:
Gateway Technical College continues to be the place where those looking to gain the skills and training to a family-sustaining career come to learn. It also continues to be a resource where people who are looking to increase their skills in their current position, upskill into a position of greater authority or to start their path to a four-year degree turn for that expertise.
Gateway Technical College will hold three open house events in July to help potential students connect with college experts to discover how Gateway can help them reach their career goals. Events will be held 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at each of its three main campuses, featuring instructor-hosted displays and interactive demonstrations as well as lab tours for specific program areas.
Dates for each of the campuses are:
● Kenosha Campus, 3520-30th Ave., July 14
● Racine Campus, 1001 S. Main St., July 15
● Elkhorn Campus, 400 County Road H, July 16
The open house events will also offer guidance on how to apply for college, pay for college and complete a financial aid application. Part of that guidance includes helping prospective students to realize that Gateway can be the start to their career or education – no matter which path they choose. The college has forged more than 115 transfer agreements with four-year colleges, providing a way for students to begin their education at a reduced cost, near their home and, many times, able to enter their career and finish their four-year degree.
Potential students can visit any – or all – of the open house events.
