(WGTD)---The head-on crash on I-94 in Kenosha County last Sunday evening that involved a compact car and a semi may not have been an accident.
The driver of the car, 23-year-old Tyler Scofield of Kenosha, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The sheriff’s department said Scofield was driving the wrong way on I-94 and smashed into a United Parcel Service truck. The truck driver was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Just before the crash, Scofield was being sought out of concern for his welfare.
The sheriff’s department said Wednesday it believes that Scofield intentionally drove into the truck.
