March 30, 2020 6p

(WGTD)---With the pandemic in full swing, next week's election will be like no other.

In Kenosha, voters who haven't voted early or absentee can expect to see police officers, restrictions on just how many of them will be allowed inside polling places at any one time and poll workers equipped with hand sanitizers, gloves, masks, paper towel and disinfectant. Plexiglass barriers will be placed between the workers and voters.

Kenosha is among the municipalities that's consolidating the number of polling places that'll be open, cutting the total number in half.

The deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail is Thursday at 4:30.

The election features a state supreme court race, the presidential preference primary and a slew of local races.
