(WGTD)---Kenosha police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred late Friday night in Lincoln Park.
The victim has been identified as an 18 year-old Mt. Pleasant resident, Cam'ron Barker.
In a news release, police said they were responding to a report of a large gathering involving a noise and battery complaint when 911 received multiple calls reporting gunfire in the area.
While treating a girl for a leg injury not believed to be gun-related, officers learned of a second injured person who reportedly had been shot and was being driven to the hospital in a private vehicle.
The individual--identified as Barker--died after receiving treatment for multiple gunshot wounds.
No arrests have been made.
According to the release, detectives spent the weekend conducting interviews, reviewing video evidence, canvassing the neighborhood and checking leads. Late Saturday afternoon, a police dog from Racine could be seen sniffing the park grounds, apparently for bullet casings.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the detective bureau at 262-605-5203.
