(WGTD)---Legendary singer Mariah Carey has been heralded as one of the greatest voices of all time by the likes of Beyoncé and others. But when Carey was inducted into the fabled Songwriters Hall of Fame last night, out of the many great voices of our time, the iconic diva hand picked 13-year-old Racine native Liamani Segura to pay tribute to her.

Segura led a medley at the industry event performing some of Carey’s biggest hits including “One Sweet Day,” “Fantasy,” “My All,” and the Christmas classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”

Segura is no stranger to Carey. After Segura covered “One Sweet Day” in a clip that has two million views on Twitter alone, the legend tweeted Segura was “phenomenal.”

Carey has 19 Billboard Hot 100 number one hits, more than any solo artist in the history of music. Carey wrote 18 of them.

The Songwriters Hall of Fame ceremony, held in New York City, was a celeb filled affair with Lil Nas X, The Eurythmics, and Motown Legend Smokey Robinson all in attendance.
