(WGTD)---Woodman's Food Market has been identified as the grocer that plans to build a store at Regency Mall in Racine, according to a report in the Milwaukee Business Journal.
A year-and-a-half ago, plans were announced to demolish part of the aging mall and allow for construction of a large grocery store and 300 apartments.
The city has already approved nearly $40 million in tax incremental financing.
The Business Journal reports that demolition is expected to begin in the spring.
The employee-owned and Janesville-based Woodman's has a store in Kenosha at I-94 and Highway 50.
