(WGTD)---A popular north side Kenosha tavern was heavily damaged by fire early Sunday morning.
According to the fire department, the alarm at the Kenosha Beer Gardens at 3501 14th Ave. was turned in around midnight.
The blaze destroyed a back deck and heavily damaged the rest of the building.
According to city property records, the structure that included a couple of apartments was built in 1930.
At mid-morning, the site was cordoned off with yellow tape and fire department investigators were inside searching for a cause. A pair of police officers kept an eye on things.
No injuries were reported.
The property owner declined to comment.
