(WGTD)---Nine sculptures that line the promenade on the south side of the Kenosha harbor channel and a tenth that sits in Civic Center Park will be swapped out next week with new pieces of art.
The public art project that features sculptures financed through donations from individuals and organizations was launched in 2011. The fiscal agent is the Kenosha Community Foundation.
The sculptures are replaced every two years. The upcoming installations will take place Tuesday, Sept. 15th and Wednesday, Sept. 16th.
The sculpture that's pictured in this post was created by Ted Garner of Chicago and is titled "En Gard." .
