Nudo, Decker, Elected to Kenosha County Board Leadership Roles

Apr. 19, 2022 9:15p

(WGTD)---Two outspoken members of the Kenosha County Board were elected to board leadership positions at Tuesday night's organizational meeting of the new board.

Normally, the vice-chair of the previous board is elevated to board chair in a vote that's usually a formality. But that person--Supervisor Monica Yuhas--lost to Supervisor Gabe Nudo. The secret-ballot vote was 12-9.

Then, supervisors voted to seat as vice-chair Erin Decker. She defeated Andy Berg 13 to 8.

Both Nudo and Decker are officers in the Kenosha County Republican Party and supported Kerkman for county executive.
