Paul Ryan has an appearance scheduled for Thursday at a company that's expanding in Racine, although he's turned down a request from a Kenosha-based political group to participate in a forum on health insurance the following day. In Racine Thursday, InSinkErator is expected to unveil the final renderings of its new previously-announced headquarters near I-94. The Speaker is expected to be part of the event, then take questions off-camera from reporters afterward. The event that Ryan won't be attending is being organized by Forward Kenosha, a group made up primarily of progressives. Both Ryan and Rep. Mark Pocan (D-Madison) were invited, but only Pocan, a Kenosha native, accepted. The event, which is open to the public, will be held at UAW Local 72 beginning at 1 p.m.
