Pleasant Prairie Police Seek Public's Help in Robbery at Cell Phone Store

From Pleasant Prairie Police: 

On Thursday, September 2, 2021, at 3:37 p.m., Pleasant Prairie Police responded to an alarm at the Verizon Wireless store located at 9780 76th Street. Police determined an employee activated a panic alarm in response to a strong-arm robbery. Officers promptly responded and searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. 
 
An employee indicated the suspect inquired about switching cell phone plans and expressed interest in activating three Apple iPhone devices. The employee obtained three phones and was forcibly pushed down by the suspect, who grabbed all three phones and fled the business. The employee sustained minor injuries as a result of being pushed down but declined medical attention. 
 
Witnesses identified the suspect as an African American male in his mid-30’s. He was approximately 6-feet tall, wearing gray pants, a blue hat, and a dark face mask. The blue shirt he had on contained the letter “M” associated with the Michigan Wolverines football logo.
